Theia By Gigaa laser

GIGAA LASER has been specialized in the research, development and service for the medical and aesthetic diode laser since 2005. Theia hair removal laser uses the state-of-the-art technology for high power, super short pulses, and multi-wavelengths, offering efficacy, safety, and a real painless solution for all skin types, all year.

WHAT IS GIGAA THEIA?

755NM WAVELENGTH

The Alexandrite wavelength offers more powerful energy absorption by the melanin chromophore, making it ideal for the widest range of hair types and color – especially light-colored and thin hair. With more superficial penetration, the 755nm wavelength targets the bulge of the hair follicle and is especially effective for superficial embedded hair in areas such as the eyebrows and upper lip.

808NM WAVELENGTH

The classic wavelength in laser hair removal, the 810nm wavelength, offers deep penetration of the hair follicle with high average power, a high repetition rate and a large 2cm spot size for fast treatment. The 810nm has a moderate melanin absorption level making it safe for darker skin types. Its deep penetration capabilities target the bulge and bulb of the hair follicle, while moderate tissue depth penetration makes it ideal for treating the arms, legs, cheeks and beard.

1064NM WAVELENGTH

The 1064 wavelength is characterized by lower melanin absorption, making it a focused solution for darker skin types. At the same time, the 1064nm offers the deepest penetration of the hair follicle, enabling it to target the bulb and papilla, as well as treat deeply embedded hair in areas such as the scalp, armpits and pubic areas. With higher water absorption generating a higher temperature, the incorporation of the 1064nm wavelength increases the thermal profile of the overall laser treatment for a highly effective hair removal.

What is SSP?

The SSP technology is the Super Short Pulses.
The Theia can adjust the pulse from 1ms. The more shorter pulses for more precise energy delivering, minimally thermal damage, more confirm and effectively results

What is Pulse Grouping?

The Pulse Grouping is a technique used in advanced laser hair removal treatment, to combine multiple pulses of energy into a group. It improves the treatment’s efficacy, safety and comfort compared to single-pluse treatment.

FAC (FAST AXIS COLLIMATION)

Theia utilizes LIMO’s advanced optical technology and integrated FAC (Fast Axis Collimation) technology. This allows the laser beam to focus rapidly over short distances, achieving higher energy density with the same pulse width, resulting in high peak power and narrow pulse width for hair removal. This significantly improves the hair removal effect and user experience.

360° FULL-CONTACT COOLING

Utilizing advanced TEC thermoelectric cooling technology, this device provides strong cooling during treatment, ensuring minimal discomfort for the patient, significantly enhancing comfort, and achieving better treatment results.

ADVANTAGES

Precise Energy Delivery
SSP and Pulse Grouping typically last only a few nanoseconds (billionths of a second), which allows the laser energy to be delivered in a very short burst. This precise energy delivery targets the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle without spreading excessive heat to the surrounding tissue. This helps protect the skin while efficiently damaging the hair follicle.
The SSP and Pulse Grouping limits the amount of heat transferred to the surrounding skin, reducing the risk of burns or hyperpigmentation. This makes it safer for individuals with sensitive skin or those with darker skin tones who may be at higher risk for adverse effects.
Because the energy is applied so quickly, the treatment becomes more efficient at targeting the hair follicle while minimizing the collateral damage to surrounding skin cells. This is especially beneficial for individuals with fine or light-colored hair, which can be more difficult to treat effectively.
The SSP and Pulse Grouping generally result in less heat accumulation in the skin, which translates into less pain during the procedure. The treatment feels more like a slight snap or stinging sensation rather than the more intense discomfort associated with longer pulse durations.
The SSP and Pulse Grouping safely treat a wide range of skin tones, including darker skin, which can be more susceptible to hyperpigmentation or scarring with traditional laser treatments. The short pulse duration allows for more controlled energy application, reducing the risk of side effects on darker skin.
The SSP and Pulse Grouping can also be effective for treating fine or light-colored hair, which traditionally have been more challenging to treat with standard lasers. The precise and quick delivery of energy can still target the melanin in the hair follicle effectively, making the treatment more versatile.

Because of the efficiency and precision of super short pulses, the overall treatment time may be reduced, and fewer sessions might be needed to achieve optimal results. This can save time for both patients and practitioners.

The treatment process is usually faster, especially for small treatment areas. With shorter pulses, the sessions can be more comfortable with less downtime, and patients can resume their normal activities almost immediately after treatment.
