Treatment Principle
Therapy of epidermis and dermis pigmentation
The laser penetrates the epidermis into the dermis, including the bulk of pigment, by using the Nd:YAG laser’s explosive action. The shot pigment mass rapidly swells and breaks into tiny pieces due to the laser’s millisecond, extremely high-energy pulses, which are then removed by the metabolic system.
Therapy of the dilatation of capillary vessel
By using the Nd: Yag Laser’s heat action, the capillary channel becomes blocked and vanishes once the laser is absorbed by the haemachrome within.
Laser diode (wavelength:810 nm)
A semiconductor continuous laser is called a laser diode. The semiconductor laser’s current input can be turned on and off to achieve long pulse operation. Although the laser diode’s wavelength has a comparatively higher rate of melanin absorption than 1064 nm, it is unable to penetrate deeply into the dermis, making it impossible to remove hair bulbs entirely.
Long pulsed Nd:YAG laser (wavelength:1064 nm)
As previously stated, the long pulsed Nd:YAG laser is more effective at removing hair due to its deep penetration depth, which makes it suitable for people with any skin type. However, it has a comparatively lower absorption rate for melanin pigments than laser diodes.
